The 8th annual Australian and New Zealand Systems Conference was
held in Mooloolaba, Queensland between the 10th and 12th of December 2002.
The conference is the premier academic meeting for those interested in Systems Thinking and Practice in the region. The conference provides a picture of the research activities and areas of interest being pursued by established researchers in the region. It was an opportunity for valuable face-to-face interaction, and a time for keener engagement with the ideas that underpin the ANZ Systems community.

These proceedings contain copies of the papers presented at the conference. Each full paper has been blind-refereed by at least two referees.
