Terms
These trading terms of Praxis Education are intended to make transactions as straightforward as possible.

Ordering
You can order books from us by phone, fax, email or letter. Books will normally be posted to you within 48 hours of receipt of order. A delivery address is essential. Please also provide a means of contacting you quickly, for example, a phone or fax number, or email address. All books and materials on this site are priced in Australian dollars.

Payment
All purchases to be paid for by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Bankcard) or cheque in Australian dollars drawn on an Australian Bank. If paying credit card by fax please send the card number, the expiry date (mm/yy), the name of the cardholder as written on the card and signature of the cardholder. Please avoid sending credit card details by email. Our online ordering system uses a 128bit secure server.

Freight
Orders are usually in the post within 48 hours of receipt of order. Books will be sent via Australia Post standard parcel service in Australia and by Economy Air overseas unless requested otherwise by the purchaser. Books sent within Australia via Australia Post standard parcel services are free for orders of 5 books and above. For all other orders, freight and packing is charged at cost. For books to Australian addresses this is currently AUD$5 for 1 book and AUD$9.90 for 2-4 books. If you would like us to send your order Express Post, of by some alternative method, please contact us if you need us to confirm the cost +61 (0)8 9305 7629 (telephone and fax) and email at orders@praxiseducation.com.

Bookshops, Distributors and Book Resellers
Special terms are available for bookshops, book distributors, and organisations ordering large quantities. For trade organisations enquiring about discounts and credit payment arrangements, please contact us directly on +61 (0)8 9305 7629 (telephone and fax), or by email via orders@praxiseducation.com. All sales are firm sales. Praxis Education is a small publisher and we do not supply books on 'sale or return' arrangements. We supply books promptly (within 48 hours) and are happy to supply bookshops in multiple small order amounts to minimise the risk of overstocking.

Academic Inspection Copies for Lecturers and Course Designers
For lecturers and course designers, we are happy to provide inspection copies to assist you to easily access books you might wish to use as course texts. This is not intended as a source of free books, and we trust your integrity on this. If you recommend an inspection copy as a text for a course you teach, please accept the inspection copy as a gift. If you wish to keep the inspection copy and do not recommend the book for a course you teach, we are happy to sell it to you at a 20% discount. If neither applies, we would be grateful if you would return the inspection copy in good condition. We welcome your comments on the book. The authors are happy to answer queries and share experiences. Please feel free to contact them via admin@praxiseducation.com.

Praxis Education is a small publisher. We specialise in producing texts for students in tertiary courses that may have smaller market than that catered for by larger publishers. If you have ideas for a text you would like to have published for your students, please contact us at admin@praxiseducation.com.

Copyright
All books and material published by Praxis Education are fully subject to copyright. Copying in any form or by any medium is forbidden unless agreement is obtained from the publisher in writing, or is permitted under the strict limits of national copyright agreement such as the CAL fair use agreements. If in doubt, please contact us direct for further information or clarification.

Government Publisher Certification
Praxis Education is on the Australian government list of commercial publishers.

Taxes
All orders to addresses in Australia are subject to 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST), which by law is included in all prices advertised on this site.

Export Sales Discount
Export sales to addresses outside Australia are supplied free of GST. The price of books for export sales, therefore, is 9.1% less than that advertised on this site.

Returns
Credit or refund will only be given on books returned because of printing or binding faults or because we have freighted books in error.

Liabilities
Praxis Education and it staff accept no responsibility for any liabilities to customers or any third parties over and above the cost of replacing faulty books.

Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Any personal information you provide to us is kept secure and used only to provide a service to you as a valued customer. Your personal details are never passed to any third party except to fulfil an order you have placed with us. Other Legal
The offer by Praxis Education to sell goods via this website is available only to buyers in those countries that recognise internet transactions and accept electronic records in evidence in legal proceedings. The information on this website is general and for information purposes only and not intended to render professional advice. End users should obtain professional advice in relation to the particular circumstances of their case. Praxis Education, its owners and staff accept no liability for any amount over and above the value of books supplied or the contract value of services undertaken.

These terms and conditions shall be construed under and pursuant to the laws of Australia and jurisdiction and venue for any action to enforce, interpret or otherwise dealing with these terms and conditions or any rights arising therefrom shall be in the courts of Western Australia.
